The British RedCross

For homework i had to research the Red Cross:
The British Recross are a charity that help with natural disasters, finding missing people, heath and safety, social care and lots more. The society was formed in 1870, and is a registered charity with over 31,000 volunteers and 2,600 staff. The British recross society is the United Kingdom's branch of the worldwide impartial organisation, the international Recross and RedCresent. In 1914, the British Recross joined forces with the Order of st. John ambulance to form the joint war committee. The Recross are a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. The enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for, and respond to emergencies in their own communities. Also when the crisis is over, they help people recover and move on with their lives. :)
