Dear Sir/Madam,

Last Tuesday we went to Browick Infant school to do our performance to teach the children about donating to charity. Two groups performed a play on donating to charity. I was in one of the performance groups saying to donate to your charity and the other group did another charity.  We told them how to donate and where.  We didn’t any donations but that could be because it’s near Christmas so they might have already given their old toys away. Even though we weren’t successful in that we were successful in making the children think about donating and sharing.  At the end Sam asked the children if they donated to charity and the majority said yes and he also asked who buys from charity shops  and most of them put their hands up.

Younger and elderly people tend to buy from charity shops  more than anyone because they don't really care about what anyone else thinks of them and they are encouraged to buy from charity shops. The target audience should be the next generation because they think that it's 'uncool' to go in a charity shop, but they don't realise how it could change someones life.  To get young adults in your charity shop, i think you should rearrange your shop to make it suitable for all ages.

The message behind our campaign is to get more people to donate to the RedCross this Christmas. We did get people to acknowledge the redcross and donating to your charity. We did get one donation. We probably didn't get many donations because it's nearly Christmas and they might of passed things down the family or already donated it. But the children do share and donate.

Yours sincerely, Ellie
